Job summary

Ohnward Bancshares, Inc. is seeking a Consumer Lender in DeWitt, IA to develop and service consumer loans such as auto and unsecured personal loans. You will manage a loan portfolio, solicit new business, and strengthen customer relationships while promoting bank products and services.

You will analyze financial information, authorize loans within limits, and support deposits and loan fees. The role emphasizes customer service, cross-selling, and compliance with banking regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or related field.
Minimum 5 years lending experience and/or training.
Experience in commercial credit, analysis and business development is a plus.
Knowledge of cash management products and banking regulations.

Responsibilities

Develop and service consumer loans including auto and unsecured personal loans.
Manage a portfolio of loans in accordance with bank policies.
Solicit, manage, and retain banking relationships to generate income.
Provide financial advice and sell appropriate bank products to prospects and clients.
Open/close accounts, manage deposits, and handle routine customer requests.
Work with loan collections to address delinquent accounts and avoid defaults.
Engage in community outreach to grow bank reputation.
