Job summary

Wingstop Restaurants Inc. in Dallas is seeking a Consumer Insights Analyst to support strategic growth by generating actionable consumer insights through quantitative and qualitative research. You will manage day-to-day projects, survey programming, data collection, analysis, and reporting.

You'll partner with Marketing, Digital, Innovation and Operations to answer key business questions, leverage primary and syndicated data, and help drive data-driven decisions across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Interest in consumer behavior and data-driven decisions
  • Experience with survey data and qualitative data
  • Ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Strong attention to detail and data quality
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Experience presenting research findings to stakeholders
  • Experience with DIY research platforms preferred
  • Restaurant/CPG research experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Market Research, Marketing, Psychology, Sociology, Business Analytics, Statistics, or related field
  • 3+ years of professional experience in consumer insights or related field

Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end consumer research projects: setup, fieldwork, data analysis and reporting
  • Program and test surveys using Qualtrics, Zappi, YouGov and other tools
  • Monitor fieldwork to meet quality, timelines and sample targets
  • Analyze survey and qualitative data to derive meaningful insights
  • Develop PowerPoint presentations summarizing findings for stakeholders
  • Support both custom and turnkey research studies across business needs
  • Assist with brand health tracking and recurring measurement programs
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Digital, Innovation and Operations teams

What We’ll Need

The Consumer Insights Analyst will support Wingstop's strategic growth agenda by helping generate actionable consumer insights through quantitative and qualitative research. This role is responsible for the day-to-day execution of research projects, including survey programming, data collection management, data analysis, and reporting.

Working closely with the Consumer Insights team and cross-functional business partners, this individual will leverage primary research, syndicated data, and DIY research platforms to answer key business questions and support decision-making across the organization.

The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, detail-oriented, analytically minded, and eager to develop expertise in consumer insights and market research. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a variety of research methodologies and business challenges while contributing to high-impact initiatives.

  • Support the execution of consumer research projects from beginning to end, including project setup, fieldwork management, data analysis, and reporting
  • Program, test, and launch surveys using platforms such as Qualtrics, Zappi, YouGov, and other research tools
  • Monitor fieldwork and data collection to ensure quality, timelines, and sample targets are achieved
  • Analyze quantitative survey data and qualitative research findings to identify meaningful insights and business implications
  • Develop PowerPoint reports and presentations that summarize research findings in a clear, concise, and actionable manner
  • Support custom and turnkey research studies across a variety of business needs
  • Assist with ongoing brand health tracking and other recurring measurement programs
  • Partner with internal stakeholders across Marketing, Digital, Innovation, Operations, and other functions to support research requests
  • Help manage focus groups, online communities, interviews, and sensory/taste testing studies
  • Conduct secondary research and competitive analysis to provide additional context and insights as needed
  • Maintain research documentation, project files, and insights repositories
  • Stay current on consumer insights methodologies, tools, and industry best practices
  • Other duties as assigned
What You’ll Need
  • Strong interest in consumer behavior, market research, and data-driven decision making
  • Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
  • Experience working with survey data and/or qualitative research data
  • Ability to analyze data and identify clear, actionable insights
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Naturally curious with a desire to continuously learn and grow
  • Proactive, resourceful, and willing to take ownership of projects
  • Experience with DIY research platforms is strongly preferred
  • Experience creating PowerPoint presentations and communicating research findings to stakeholders
  • Restaurant, foodservice, or CPG project management research experience is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Market Research, Marketing, Psychology, Sociology, Consumer Behavior, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field required
  • 3+ years of professional experience in consumer insights, market research, marketing analytics, or related field
