Job summary

Sun Recruiting, Inc. is seeking a Consumer Financial Services Career Associate Attorney for a premier AmLaw 100 firm's practice.

This role requires at least three years of litigation experience and offers exposure to complex disputes involving loan servicing, credit reporting, and related consumer financial services litigation. The position supports a collaborative, nationwide team with opportunities for growth outside the traditional partnership track, including leadership of junior team

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction, in good standing.
• 3+ years of substantive litigation experience.
• Experience with commercial litigation and representation of financial institutions preferred.
• Background defending matters under FCRA, FDCPA, and/or TCPA advantageous.
• Ability to independently manage cases, lead projects, and supervise junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Independently handle a broad range of consumer financial services litigation, including commercial disputes and matters involving federal and state consumer protection laws.
• Participate in hearings, depositions, motions practice, and other proceedings across state and federal courts.
• Provide legal advice and regulatory guidance, communicate case strategy and developments, and support clients responding to investigations.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, and related litigation documents.
• Work closely with senior attorneys and partners on high-impact matters within a collaborative, nationally coordinated team.
