The role focuses on consumer bankruptcy with strong Chapter 13 skills, representing debtors and managing a full docket in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Applicants should have 5+ years in consumer bankruptcy, proficiency with CM/ECF, and excellent writing and research abilities.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership.
• At least 5 years of consumer bankruptcy law experience, with a focus on representing consumer debtors.
• Proficiency in CM/ECF electronic filing systems.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong legal research and analytical abilities.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Represent debtors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13,
• Participate in Subchapter V bankruptcy proceedings and related bankruptcy litigation.
• Manage a full docket of cases from intake through resolution, including direct client communication, court appearances, and drafting/reviewing pleadings.
• Provide strategic legal guidance on the intersection of tax liabilities and bankruptcy law.
• Collaborate with tax attorneys, CPAs, and paralegals across practice groups to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.
• Maintain high professional standards in client service, legal research, and written advocacy.

We are seeking an experienced Bankruptcy Attorney to contribute to our dynamic team.

We have an opening for a consumer bankruptcy attorney with 7+ years of experience preparing and filing consumer bankruptcy cases, plus strong Chapter 13 skills and expertise.
