The Florida Bar Foundation, a boutique bankruptcy law firm in Fort Lauderdale, FL, seeks a Bankruptcy Attorney to join our professional team. We represent debtors, creditors, and trustees in all types of bankruptcy matters and invest in the development of our employees.

Responsibilities include managing 15-30 active cases from inception through completion, maintaining client relationships, developing case strategies, and pursuing business development with a long-term partnership mindset.

Qualifications

• Three years of bankruptcy experience, including complex business disputes.
• Comfortable and effective in the courtroom.
• Experience negotiating complex settlements.
• Proficient in all forms of communication.
• Strong research and writing skills.
• Demonstrates enthusiasm and drive.

Responsibilities

• Manage 15-30 active cases from inception through completion.
• Manage client relationships and regularly consult with clients and third parties to effectively move cases towards a successful conclusion.
• Develop case strategies and provide leadership and direction to staff.
• Cultivate relationships with the Firm's clients and participate in business development.

Qualifications

• A minimum of three(3) years of bankruptcy experience, including complex business disputes.
• Be comfortable and effective in the courtroom.
• Experience negotiating complex terms and conditions of settlements.
• Demonstrate proficiency in all forms of communication.
• Ability to conduct research and write exceptionally well.
• Demonstrate pride in working enthusiastically and doggedly.

Compensation

$100,000 - $125,000 yearly
