What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

1. Ensure patients are appropriately registered for all service lines and perform eligibility verification
2. Maintain close working relationships with clinical partners to facilitate open communication across departments
3. Provide timely and continual coverage of assigned work areas to enhance patient service
4. Contact insurance companies to verify eligibility and benefits, and communicate coverage information to patients
5. Register patients for various services while ensuring accuracy in demographic details

What is Required (Qualifications):

1. High School Diploma or equivalent required
2. Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a healthcare setting
3. Strong communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with clinical staff
4. Ability to maintain schedule flexibility to meet department needs
5. Effective time management skills to monitor attendance and limit unauthorized overtime

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

1. Experience in Oncology and/or Infusions
2. One year of prior collections experience
3. One year of customer service experience
4. One year of direct Patient Access experience
5. Associate's degree
