Job summary

Vizient, Inc. is seeking a seasoned clinical and analytical consultant to support healthcare clients in improving medical-surgical performance, clinical operations, quality, and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Clinical experience in medical-surgical nursing or related healthcare environment.
• 5+ years of relevant experience required.
• Active or eligible clinical licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze clinical, operational, and performance data to identify trends and actionable recommendations for medical-surgical improvement initiatives.
• Interpret complex analytical results and develop clear data-driven stories that support client decision-making and organizational change.
• Develop and execute project plans that meet established schedules, budgets, deliverables, and expected value.
• Apply project management methodologies to organize workstreams, manage milestones, address risks, and support successful project delivery.
• Facilitate client meetings and discussions and present findings and recommendations to clinical, operational, and senior leadership audiences.
• Manage relationships and expectations with mid- to senior-level client leaders throughout consulting engagements.
• Apply medical-surgical clinical expertise to assess workflows, practices, performance, and opportunities for quality, operational, and clinical improvement.
• Identify opportunities to expand client value and collaborate with senior project team members to evaluate potential consulting solutions.
• Develop and improve consulting products, services, tools, methodologies, and approaches within the clinical practice area.
• Guide less experienced consultants in data interpretation, storytelling, deliverable development, and the creation and sharing of intellectual capital.
