Blue Cross NC is seeking a Consulting Actuary specializing in ACA Risk Adjustment to lead pricing strategies and actuarial initiatives. You will evaluate care management models, benchmark analyses, and design pricing for sophisticated insurance products, delivering actionable insights.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years of actuarial experience (ASA with 9+ years accepted) and credentials with the American Academy of Actuaries and SOA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required).
• Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.
• 7 years of relevant actuarial experience (or 9 years if ASA, in lieu of FSA).

Responsibilities

• Lead pricing strategies and actuarial initiatives for business segments.
• Evaluate advanced care management models and benchmarking analyses.
• Design and price sophisticated insurance products.
• Provide actuarial insights and address risks and opportunities.
• Communicate results to senior leadership and collaborate with external partners.
• Maintain ongoing professional education to meet standards.
