Job summary

Blue Cross NC is seeking a Consulting Actuary - ACA Risk Adjustment to lead pricing strategies and actuarial initiatives across business segments. You will evaluate advanced care management models and price sophisticated insurance products while driving strategic risk analysis and collaboration with internal and external partners.

You will bring 7+ years of actuarial experience (ASA 9+ years acceptable) and maintain active actuarial credentials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree required.
• Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries or ASA with sufficient experience.
• 7 years of relevant actuarial experience or 9 years with ASA.

Responsibilities

• Lead pricing strategies and actuarial initiatives for business segments.
• Evaluate advanced care management models and pricing of insurance products.
• Conduct competitive benchmarking analyses and risk assessments.
• Provide actuarial insights to support profitability and value for Blue Cross NC customers.
• Manage external partnerships with vendors, auditors, regulators, and providers.
• Develop relationships with internal partners and act as a strategic advisor.
• Maintain continuing education standards for actuarial credentials.
