Job summary

Humana's CenterWell Senior Primary Care seeks an IPA Consultative Coder to collaborate with providers and clinic teams, improving documentation accuracy and reinforcing coding best practices.

In this hybrid role, you will deliver coding education, serve as a consultative resource, and perform audits and quarterly chart reviews to drive high-quality, cost-effective care across assigned markets. Travel within the market is required; 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of risk adjustment medical coding experience.
• CCS, CRC OR CPC Certification.
• Familiarity in value-based care.
• Must live within 50 miles of assigned market.

Responsibilities

• Deliver coding and documentation education to providers and clinic staff within IPA clinics.
• Act as a consultative resource and ongoing support for providers in assigned clinics.
• Conduct documentation audits to identify gaps, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
• Perform quarterly chart reviews to support coding accuracy and documentation completeness.
