Job summary

Carter BloodCare is seeking a Sales Consultant for the Donor Recruitment team in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, based in Bedford, TX. You will promote CBC’s mission, establish and maintain sponsor relationships, plan and execute donor events, and work with account coordinators to meet collection goals.

You will travel within the Southwest region, engage with sponsors and donors, and must be able to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, to support blood drives and campaigns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

This role supports the F-Southwest region, including Burleson, Cleburne, Granbury, Stephenville, South Fort Worth, Glen Rose, and Keene. Key service areas are Burleson, Cleburne, Granbury, and Stephenville, with travel required throughout the territory.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITY

The Consultant is responsible for promoting the Carter BloodCare (CBC) mission, implementing effective strategies to recruit, manage, and maintain relationships with sponsor organizations, and achieving successful blood collection events while meeting established blood collection goals.

The Consultant is responsible for retention of current accounts, developing new accounts, and building strong relationships with account blood drive coordinators. This position requires the employee to have regular personal interaction and coordination of work with other employees in the workplace, as well as face-to-face interaction with members of the public, actual and potential sponsors of blood drives, and/or donors. Responsibilities include education, planning, and ongoing support to account blood drive coordinators to ensure sponsors host successful and productive blood drives.

The Consultant is responsible for complete sponsor account information, accurate record keeping and ongoing maintenance of ‘up to date’ account information. This critical information is maintained in an electronic Customer Relations management software system provided by CBC. Ability to work varied hours, evenings, weekends and some holidays. Must be available during blood drive events or when schedule demands. Must be able to travel and conduct face–to-face sales calls with potential sponsors of blood drives.

Regular full-time attendance is required during normal working hours.

EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred), or equivalent experience

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales or account relationship management

• Ability to work varied hours, evenings, weekends and some holidays. Must be available during blood drive events or when schedule demands. Must be able to travel and to conduct face–to-face sales calls with clients.

• Manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously while meeting aggressive timelines. Good time management and organizational skills are a must, accurate and ‘up to date’ record keeping are required to reflect the latest account information.

• Must be comfortable working in a goal driven environment. Always maintaining donor confidentiality. Ability to work independently, demonstrating self-initiative, taking responsibility/ownership of decisions and actions.

• Ability to use systematic approach to define and solve problems. Must be computer literate.
