Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) seeks an Employee Health & Benefits Consultant to drive growth by delivering comprehensive group benefits solutions to businesses. You will prospect, develop new opportunities, manage client accounts, and enroll plans.

The role requires active health, accident, and life licenses, strong sales and relationship skills, and the ability to work hybrid with clients across North America.

Qualifications

A day in the life.

As an Employee Health & Benefits Consultant, you will drive growth and build lasting client relationships by delivering comprehensive group benefits solutions to businesses. This role is responsible for prospecting and developing new business opportunities, managing and retaining existing client accounts, conducting benefit plan presentations and enrollments, and serving as a trusted advisor on employee benefits programs. Working closely with internal account management and carrier partners, the ideal candidate will provide tailored insurance recommendations, ensure exceptional client service, maintain accurate documentation, and stay current on industry trends, products, and regulatory requirements. Strong relationship‑building, sales, communication, and consultative problem‑solving skills are essential for success in this role.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $67,500 to $125,800.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case‑by‑case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance‑based incentives.
