SUMMARY The Consultant is responsible for the primary execution role on Motive Power projects. The position requires skills in managing cross‑functional, multi‑location project teams using plan‑based and/or cutting‑edge project management methodologies. The position’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, creating and maintaining project plans, schedules, assessing & mitigating risks, facilitating teams, and providing timely and accurate status reports and other communications to management and team members.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Background in program/project management including maintaining schedules & interfaces with cross‑functional team members throughout the project life cycle.
Strong Communications skills – both verbal and written – to all levels of personnel & management.
Strong Interpersonal, Influence, & Consulting skills – the Analyst has accountability for other peoples project deliverables, yet these people do not report into the Analyst.
Ability to self teach when necessary.
Ability to break down complex business information, and apply rational planning for sound business decisions.
Experience developing process documentation.
Excellent time management, organizational, problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize and juggle many projects at once.
Strong commitment to quality, attention to detail, and proven ability to meet deadlines.
SW Tool Proficiency: MS Project Server 2010/2007/2003, MS Office Applications, and Visio.
