As a Consultant, you will play a key role in client service, seamlessly integrating into our clients’ teams and projects to deliver specialized finance and accounting solutions to meet our clients’ business needs.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

• BA/BS degree in accounting, finance or related field
• CPA preferred
• 6+ years of professional experience
• Prior client service experience & working on projects is preferred
• Public accounting experience preferred
• Relevant experience in multiple industries preferred

Client Service Responsibilities:

• Use accounting knowledge and make recommendations to clients as they navigate significant business transformation
• Assist clients in preparation of trial balances and financial statements (compiled and reviewed) including, but not limited to, reconciling cash, accounts payable, income and expense analysis, and accrued liabilities
• Conduct research and analysis related to complex accounting transactions, develop memos, analyses, and other client-facing deliverables
• Analyze and evaluate internal controls related to financial risks
• Develop and implement strategies and procedures to improve internal controls
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Provide support to client pre/during/post system implementation
• Document client processes and make recommendations for improvement

FP&A and Corporate Finance Advisory:

• Assist clients with various FP&A needs, including budgeting, and forecasting sales, inventory, and operations
• Assist clients through transactions

Firm Operations Responsibilities:

• Completion of the firm's proprietary training program(s)
• Participation in team engagement activities
• Ad-hoc internal operational projects, as needed
• Travel to client locations & MMC Office is required

Compensation:

The expected pay range for this position is $90,000 - $138,000 inclusive of base salary, annual bonus, and additional bonus opportunities based on individual and company performance, exclusive of other benefits listed below for which this role may be eligible.

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, education, training, licensure and certifications, other business and organizational needs, and applicable laws.
