Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, insurance, risk management, or a related field preferred.
• Prior underwriting experience, preferably in commercial Property & Casualty insurance.
• Experience supporting or underwriting construction-related accounts.
• Experience with wrap-up insurance programs preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Quote new business, issuing policies and endorsements.
• Handle renewals and assist underwriter with requests.
• Coordinate with Claims, Safety, Audit, Finance, IT and Sales & Distribution.
• Put together and send out company reports and service accounts.
