Job summary

WCF Insurance, based in Sandy, Utah, seeks an Associate Underwriter for the Wrap-up Team in the Large Commercial Specialty Department. The role involves building client relationships, quoting new business, issuing policies and endorsements, handling renewals, and coordinating with other departments to drive results.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in business/finance/insurance or related field with underwriting experience in P&C, and wrap-up program exposure is preferred.

• Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Quoting new business, issuing policies and endorsements, handling renewals.
• Working with the audit department and producing company reports.
• Servicing accounts and assisting underwriter with requests.
• Coordinating with Claims, Safety, Audit, Finance, IT, and Sales & Distribution.
