Job Overview

Morton Buildings, Inc., industry leader in post-frame construction with 120 years of experience, is expanding its construction crews and employee ownership. We operate over 10 manufacturing, fabrication, and shipping plants nationwide, servicing more than 100 construction centers.

Salary and Bonuses

Salary ranges from $22.00 to $24.00 per hour based on experience. First-year bonuses include a $2,000 bonus and quarterly bonuses of $500 for new crew members, subject to taxes. Learn more about our Construction Crew opportunity.

Responsibilities

1. Follow safety and construction procedures, standards, and methods
2. Read and interpret construction plans
3. Use tools and equipment safely and efficiently
4. Perform tasks like digging, framing, installing doors/windows, siding, roofing, and finishes
5. Work collaboratively in a respectful, organized environment

Qualifications

1. Experience in construction, carpentry, or framing preferred
2. Willingness to complete training programs
3. Valid driver’s license preferred
4. Ability to work 9-10 hours during peak season
5. Ability to follow directions and produce quality work
6. Commitment to safety and proper tool use
7. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally, work at heights up to 40 feet, and work in demanding environments
8. Good communication skills
9. Willing to travel up to 10%, including overnight stays
