Job summary

The DC Army National Guard is seeking a Construction Vehicle Repairer to maintain heavy equipment such as trucks, bulldozers, and power shovels used in construction operations. You will diagnose and repair engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, and chassis components while following established maintenance schedules.

Expect paid training with a structured path from Basic to Advanced Individual Training, and a regular paycheck during service weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or you must be a junior in high school.
• Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet citizenship requirements.
• Military enlistment in the Army National Guard is required.

Responsibilities

• Service drive shafts, universal joints, service brake shoes, water pumps, and turbochargers.
• Maintain and replace cylinder heads, high-pressure fuel injection pumps, and road wheels.
