Job summary

HDR is seeking a Construction VDC Lead to join our Building Engineering Services Group. The role focuses on leading BIM coordination, ensuring model quality, and supporting on-site construction activities at projects in Texas and nearby markets.

You will drive multi-discipline coordination, manage model continuity, and facilitate changes between the design team and field teams to avoid conflicts and schedule impacts. HDR values innovation and collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in AEC industry with hands-on BIM modeling and on-site coordination.
• Experience coordinating with subcontractors, superintendents, and field personnel is preferred.
• Experience with large-scale industrial, data center, or mission-critical projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the onsite liaison between design teams, construction teams, subcontractors, and field leadership.
• Ensure digital models support construction execution, constructability, field coordination, and installation requirements.
• Provide onsite construction support with regular site presence and coordination meetings.
