Job summary

HDR is seeking a Construction VDC Lead to drive BIM coordination and constructability on complex facility projects. You will operate as the onsite liaison among design teams, contractors, and field leadership to ensure alignment of models with construction execution and installation requirements.

With a strong background in Revit modeling, ACC and Navisworks, you will lead multi-discipline coordination, manage model continuity, and support design changes while reducing RFIs and rework.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent combination of education and related industry experience.
• Minimum 5 years of related industry experience.
• Advanced skills in 3D design software and document management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as onsite liaison between design, construction, subcontractors, and field leadership.
• Ensure digital models support construction execution, constructability, field coordination and installation requirements.
• Provide onsite construction support, attend coordination meetings, and observe site progress.
• Act as primary liaison between design and field teams, coordinate design changes, RFIs, bulletins, and updates.
• Maintain project model continuity, perform BIM quality reviews and constructability checks.
• Coordinate across all design disciplines to resolve coordination conflicts.
• Coordinate delegated design scopes with specialty contractors and ensure integration into models.
