Job summary

Mortenson is seeking a Truck Operator to operate Water, Dump, Haul, and Tractor Trailer/Lowboy trucks on our projects, following safety policies and procedures. This role requires attention to maintenance, the ability to read load charts, and strong teamwork.

You will travel as needed, work with diverse teams, and contribute to site logistics while lifting up to 50 lbs. Mortenson offers a comprehensive benefits package and a commitment to equal opportunity.

Qualifications

Construction experience preferred.
Valid driver’s license with proper classification and endorsements as required by law.
Ability to read safety rules and load charts.
Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Operate trucks per project requirements (Water, Dump, Haul, Tractor Trailer/Lowboy).
Follow safety regulations and project plans.
Maintain clean and organized work area.
Perform routine preventive maintenance (lubricating, fueling, cleaning).
Observe equipment operation to detect malfunctions and report findings.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Travel as needed for projects.
Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.
