Job summary

Mortenson is seeking a Truck Operator to operate Water Truck, Dump Truck, Haul Truck, and Tractor Trailer/Lowboy on construction sites in the United States. You will follow Mortenson safety policies and work plans to support project needs.

The role requires strong teamwork, a safety mindset, and the ability to read load charts and maintenance instructions. The position is on-site with opportunities for growth within a major building and EPC contractor.

Qualifications

• Related construction experience preferred.
• Current driver's license with proper classifications and endorsements as required by law.
• Strong teamwork orientation.
• Positive attitude and professional customer service skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to operate equipment controls and read load charts.
• Ability to work independently and follow safety rules.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Operate Water Truck, Dump Truck, Haul Truck, Tractor Trailer/Lowboy based on project requirements.
• Follow prescribed safety regulations.
• Maintain housekeeping in assigned area.
• Perform routine maintenance including lubricating, fueling, and cleaning.
• Observe equipment operation to detect malfunctions.
• Follow work plans and pre-task cards.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds and organizational levels.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
