Robinson+Cole invites a Construction Associate with 3–5 years of construction law experience to join our Practice Group in New York City, Hartford or Stamford. The role focuses initially on transactional work, with openness to learning litigation to serve construction industry clients.

We value excellent writing, strong communication, and familiarity with contract drafting. Periodic travel along the East Coast is expected, and a hybrid work model is offered.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in construction law.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Familiarity with contract drafting and negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Support the transactional side of the practice, drafting and negotiating contracts and agreements.
• Counsel clients on strategy and implementation risks.
• Assist in complex construction contract negotiations and trials as needed.
