Job summary

McKinstry is seeking a Functional Training Program Manager to align training delivery, instructional development, and knowledge assets for business operations and project delivery. You will develop creative training content and manage multiple training programs in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 5+ years in program management with 2+ years in project/ program management, and 2+ years creating training for construction personnel. Strong MS Office and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of overall program management experience, with 2+ years in Project Management and Program Management capacity required.
• 2+ years creating and delivering training and mentorship content to construction personnel.
• 5+ years leading Skilled Labor teams in the Construction industry with a proven track record of successful project execution.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with development teams and stakeholders to produce extraordinary training content and agile eLearning solutions.
• Manage training programs and projects in an entrepreneurial environment requiring strong multi-tasking abilities.
• Assess current and upcoming business needs / strategic initiatives and design innovative training solutions.
• Manage training development projects including planning work, managing details and keeping tasks on track.
• Determine proper blend of learning solutions to reinforce hands-on tool use and learning transfer.
• Take initiative and be proactive without waiting for direction.
• Coordinate trainers and sessions, delivering instructor led courses to all craft disciplines
• Build learning paths and manage enrollments for various Craft positions
• Mentor program participants and managers; perform reviews of content with SMEs
• Measure effectiveness and plan continuous improvement; collaborate with stakeholders
• Hire, coach and manage team members aligned with McKinstry values
