Job summary

Tutor Perini Corporation in Henderson, NV seeks a Manager of Construction Training to lead the growth of Early Career Development (ECD) engineers. You will implement the Engineer Training and Development Program, ensure progression of ECDs, and participate in mentoring to boost engagement and performance.

Reporting to the Director of Construction Training, you will collaborate with Senior Management to link training to company goals, monitor participation, and drive meaningful development

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Some experience in training field engineers and project engineers in a construction setting.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
• Experience applying Best Practice processes and documentation in construction training.
• Ability to develop and implement career-path initiatives.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Assist Director in monitoring ECDs in the Engineering Rotation Program.
• Participate in the Mentoring Program at the direction of the Director.
• Assist Director in identifying and creating meaningful training activities aligned to company goals.
• Collaborate with Mentors to develop career path initiatives.
• Manage a recordkeeping system that tracks training participation and progress.
• Facilitate and order supplies for training events.
• Assist Director to evaluate training effectiveness after completion.
• Coordinate with consultants and outside training providers as needed.
• Attend University Career Fairs to recruit new talent.
