Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction experience in heavy civil, commercial building or related sectors.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, business, or related field; or 20+ years of construction experience if not degreed.
• Experience executing projects valued at $100M or larger with strong leadership and collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; capable of training field engineers and project engineers.

Responsibilities

• Assist Director in implementing the Engineer Training and Development Program.
• Monitor Early Career Development (ECD) employees and participate in mentorship activities.
• Identify and create meaningful training and development activities aligned to company goals.
• Maintain records of training participation and progress.
• Coordinate with consultants and outside training providers as needed.
• Attend University Career Fairs to recruit talent.
• Travel up to 25% as needed.

This person will work collaboratively with the Director and Senior Management to implement the Engineer Training and Development Program that will ensure our ECDs develop a well-rounded skill set, are provided growth opportunities, and have overall job satisfaction.
