Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking a construction laborer to prepare sites and perform daily housekeeping for concrete and general construction tasks. The role involves operating jackhammers, drills, and cement mixers, assisting with formwork, and ensuring safety on the jobsite.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; related field experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate jackhammers and drills to break up concrete or pavement.
• Position, join, align and seal structural components such as concrete wall sections and pipes.
• Mix, pour, and spread concrete using cement mixers.
• Signal equipment operators to guide machinery and materials.
• Finish freshly poured concrete with floats, trowels, or screeds.
• Maintain and operate pumps, compressors, and generators for tools and equipment.
