Job summary

McGrath RentCorp seeks a Construction Technician to perform general maintenance, cleaning, and remodeling to prepare buildings for customer delivery. You will install structures, fixtures, and perform related construction tasks according to plans and codes.

The role requires manual dexterity, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and comfort working outdoors in variable weather. Work hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, with a comprehensive benefits package and a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in construction or related work required.
• Ability to use both manual and power tools and follow operating guidelines.
• Ability to use mathematics to calculate length, width, depth, etc.

Responsibilities

• Install structures or fixtures per plan and current building codes.
• Perform maintenance and construction in plumbing, carpentry, painting, flooring, ceiling, electrical tasks.
• Work on remodeling or modifying modular buildings; construct walls and perform finish-out functions.
• Assist in 6S and Lean initiatives; follow safety policies and procedures.
