Job summary

Mobile Modular Management Corporation - A Division of McGrath is seeking a General Maintenance (Finance) professional in Pasadena, TX. The role involves maintenance and preparation of buildings for customer deliveries, including plumbing, carpentry, painting and electrical tasks, with responsibilities for receiving materials and supporting facility operations.

The position requires following safety procedures and demonstrated ability to work with manual and power tools.

Qualifications

• Able to work outside in variable weather conditions.
• Ability to use both manual and power tools and follow operating guidelines.
• Ability to follow spoken and written instruction.
• Ability to safely perform all tasks and understand safety policies and procedures.
• Deliver a high quality output consistent with construction standards.
• Able to take, record and follow standard measurements and cut materials to specific sizes.
• Prior experience in construction or related work desired.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance service and repairs in plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, machine servicing, general cleaning or electrical.
• Receives and unloads materials to modular buildings or performs related tasks.
• Performs manual labor as needed to support the facility's operations.
• Is knowledgeable in general procedures and safety measures.
• Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within related field such as construction, warehouse, and manufacturing.
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision.
• Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
