McGrath Rent Corp in Richland, WA is seeking a Construction Technician to perform general maintenance, cleaning, and remodeling to prepare buildings for delivery to customer sites.

You will install structures, perform various trades, and support modular building modifications while adhering to safety standards and company policies. The role is Monday–Friday, with a field-based, hands-on work environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in construction or related work is required.
• Ability to work outside in variable weather conditions.
• Ability to use both manual and power tools and follow operating guidelines.
• Ability to use mathematics to calculate lengths and dimensions as noted on plans.
• Ability to follow spoken and written instructions in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Install structures or fixtures per plan and current building code.
• Perform maintenance, repairs and construction in plumbing, carpentry, painting, flooring, electrical.
