Job description

We are currently seeking Construction Technicians - Laborers with valid CDL licenses to join our team in Lexington, KY. As a Construction Technician / Laborer, you will be responsible for the installation of cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) for various municipal, industrial, storm, and sewer line rehab and repair projects. This position requires working with minimal oversight while closely following instructions.

We are currently offering a limited-time sign-on bonus of $4,000 for new hires with a valid CDL license. Sign-on bonuses for new hires without a current CDL license are available at a reduced amount. Employees meeting the criteria outlined in our sign-on bonus program will be eligible for the full payout.

The starting pay ranges from $21.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience.

What You’ll Do :

• Repair sewer lines using specified products and processes
• Prepare pull-in tubes for installation by examining D-Rings, chains, and attachment to pulling cable
• Install tubes using appropriate equipment such as winches, backhoes, or cranes
• Monitor gauges and indicators to ensure proper equipment operation
• Cure resin products with inflation tubes, banding boots, layflat, boiler hoses, etc.
• Learn and train on Insituform’s products, processes, safety procedures, and equipment
• Drive various vehicles to transport crews and equipment
• Set up and clean up at job sites and shops

What We Need From You :

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience as a Construction Laborer or Installation Technician highly preferred
• OSHA certifications are a plus
• Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle report required
• Must possess a Class A or B CDL; Hazmat endorsement is preferred but not required
• Ability to wear a respirator and body harness in confined spaces
• Ability to lift/move up to 75 pounds and operate pneumatic, battery-powered, or electric tools
• Comfortable working outdoors at job sites with moving vehicles and mechanical operations, with occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles
