We are currently seeking Construction Technicians / Laborers with valid CDL licenses to join our team in Atlanta, GA. As a Construction Technician / Laborer, you will be responsible for the installation of cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) for various municipal, industrial, storm, and sewer line rehab and repair projects. This position requires working with minimal oversight while still adhering to instructions closely.

We are currently offering a limited-time sign-on bonus of $4,000 for new hires with a valid CDL license, and sign-on bonuses for new hires without a current CDL license are also available at a reduced amount. New employees who meet the criteria outlined in our sign-on bonus program will be eligible for the full payout.

The starting pay is an hourly rate, and the average Construction Technician can expect to earn up to $75,000 per year in total (including starting hourly rate, overtime, per diem). We offer 100% paid on-the-job training!

What You’ll Do:

• Repair sewer lines using specified products and techniques
• Ensure pull-in tube is properly prepared by examining D-Rings, chains, and attachment to pulling cable
• Install the prepared tube using appropriate equipment such as a winch, backhoe, or crane
• Monitor gauges and indicators to ensure proper equipment operation
• Cure resin products using inflation tubes, banding boots, layflat, boiler hoses, etc.
• Learn and train on Insituform’s products, safety procedures, installation techniques, and equipment
• Drive various vehicles to transport crews and equipment
• Perform setup and cleanup tasks at the job site or shop

What We Need From You:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience as a Construction Laborer and/or Installation Technician preferred
• OSHA certifications are a plus
• Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle report
• Must possess a Class A or B CDL and meet Insituform’s motor vehicle standards (Hazmat endorsement is optional)
• Ability to wear a respirator and body harness in confined spaces
• Ability to lift/move up to 75 pounds and operate pneumatic, battery-powered, or electric tools
• Comfortable working outdoors at job sites with moving vehicles and machinery, with occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles
• Must be able to travel weekly, potentially out of state
