Job summary

SMC Ltd. is a global premium supplier to the medical market, seeking a Facility Engineer to lead inspection of construction projects and guide on-site staff to ensure regulatory and safety compliance. The role requires a high school diploma with technical coursework and strong communication.

Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, ERP systems, and IQMS is expected, with familiarity with ISO, GMP, and OSHA standards. Teamwork and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma with technical or college-level coursework.
• Ability to coordinate workflow and oversee quality requirements.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Assists in plans and specs to meet local/state requirements.
• Analyzes work orders, job scopes and drawings to determine materials/operations.
• Instructs staff, answers questions and distributes work as needed.
• Reviews plans, blueprints, layouts and specs for compliance and safety.
• Monitors schedules to meet timelines.
• Supports all processes in outages and maintains workflow efficiency.
• Performs carpentry and operates construction equipment.
• Operates and maintains equipment used in building/grounds maintenance.
• Manages construction equipment and power tools.
• Performs other duties as required.
