Job summary

SMC Ltd. is seeking a facilities engineer to plan, implement, and maintain infrastructure and equipment for buildings and facilities.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, team collaboration, and the ability to lead or support multi-discipline projects. Ideal candidates will have a technical degree or equivalent maintenance experience, proficiency with ERP systems, and a hands-on approach to mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or minimum three years of industrial facility maintenance experience.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; hands on in the field.
• Strong interpersonal skills; team player with ability to communicate with all staff and management.
• Excellent customer service skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Understand engineering principles including electrical, HVAC, facility management systems, hydraulics, and basic construction techniques.
• Analyze problems and data to determine engineered solutions for facility operations and maintenance.
• Lead project teams or participate to support ongoing projects within budget constraints.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance documents and coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams.
• Maintain facility drawings and update documentation for plant development and standardization.
• Communicate effectively with management, vendors, and visitors.
