Job summary

McGrath RentCorp is hiring a Construction Technician to perform general maintenance, remodeling, and preparation of buildings for client sites. This role involves installing structures, using hand and power tools, and following building codes. The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and Lean practices.

The role includes 6:00am-2:30pm Monday–Friday with opportunities for DailyPay and company benefits. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather

Qualifications

• Prior experience in construction or related work required.

Responsibilities

• Install structures or fixtures using hand or power tools per plan and code.
• Perform maintenance and repairs in plumbing, carpentry, painting, flooring, and electrical areas.
• Remodel or modify modular buildings and perform related construction work.
• Demolish, replace, or construct walls including framing and drywall.
• Light electrical work such as wiring, switches, and outlets.
