Job summary

Orkin is seeking a Construction Technician to install pest and home protection systems, including attic and crawlspace services. You’ll work with a crew, perform light carpentry, and communicate effectively with customers while maintaining equipment and documenting work on a handheld device.

We offer paid training, a company vehicle, and comprehensive benefits. The role requires a strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to lift heavy objects and work on roofs and in tight spaces.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain a state pesticide license within 90 days (company-paid training).
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work safely in attics or crawlspaces.
• Experience or comfort with metal brake work is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and install pest and home protection systems.
• Complete attic and crawlspace services, including encapsulation and insulation.
• Light carpentry work.
• Communicate clearly with customers.
• Maintain company equipment and complete reports via handheld device.
