This role balances leadership with hands-on field work, traveling between job sites and collaborating with team members to complete tasks. Strong construction foundation, reliability, and teamwork are essential; bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred or translation tech will be used.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and work from blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and project specifications
• Help coordinate daily activities and assignments for field crews
• Work alongside crew members to complete construction and remodeling tasks as needed
• Monitor job progress, workmanship, materials, and project needs
• Communicate job-site updates, concerns, and material needs to company leadership
• Help maintain an organized, productive, and professional job site
• Coordinate materials, supplies, tools, and deliveries when needed
• Communicate professionally with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and team members
• Travel between multiple active job sites as required

Job description

CDP Remodeling Solutions is seeking a dependable, hands-on Construction Team Leader to help coordinate and support crews across multiple commercial and residential remodeling projects.

We specialize in commercial hotel renovations as well as residential kitchen and bathroom remodeling.

This is a hands-on field leadership position. The Construction Team Leader will help coordinate field crews while also working alongside team members to complete project tasks as needed. The balance between leadership and hands-on work will vary depending on the project, workload, and staffing needs.

The right candidate does not need to know every aspect of our business on day one. We are looking for someone with a solid construction foundation, strong technical comprehension, professionalism, reliability, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

What We're Looking For

• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, or technical/construction drawings
• Construction, remodeling, skilled trades, maintenance, or similar hands-on experience
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Professional communication and teamwork skills
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while following project direction
• Willingness and ability to perform hands-on construction work as needed
• Reliable transportation and ability to commute between job sites
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to use a smartphone and basic technology for communication, photos, documentation, and translation when needed

Strongly Preferred

• Previous experience leading or coordinating construction crews
• Commercial remodeling or hotel renovation experience
• Experience coordinating materials, supplies, or job-site inventory

Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred. Candidates who are not bilingual must be comfortable using translation technology to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking team members.

Compensation

$20–$25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Travel between job sites is required. Mileage reimbursement or a travel allowance will be provided for approved job-related travel.

This position will work closely with company leadership and offers an opportunity to expand responsibilities as knowledge of CDP's projects, crews, customers, and operating standards develops.
