Job summary

Mullins Mechanical and Welding (Mullins) is seeking a Construction Recruiter to lead recruiting efforts for manpower across projects. You will manage the ATS, craft job postings, source candidates, and guide interviews from application to first day onsite.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of construction recruiting, strong communication, and a solid grasp of pre-employment checks. You will partner with HR and site management to meet hiring needs in our growing operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Recruiter in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of applicant tracking systems and recruiting best practices.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update job descriptions and specifications.
• Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to ATS and job boards.
• Source and recruit candidates using databases and social media.
• Collect and screen candidate resumes and applications.
• Conduct interviews and filter candidates for open roles.
• Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and collect feedback.
• Prepare and present offers to candidates.
• Conduct pre-employment activities such as background checks and drug screens.
• Coordinate start dates with HR/Site Management.
• Monitor HR recruiting best practices and design recruiting strategies.
• Compile and analyze recruiting reports for continuous improvement.
