Responsibilities include field surveys, base station setup, rough stakeouts, drone data capture, and producing as-built documents. The role emphasizes safety, equipment maintenance, and collaboration across operations and management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree preferred.
• 5–10 years as a surveyor.
• Strong algebra, trigonometry, drafting and computing basics.
• Proficient with GPS and robotic total stations.
• Knowledge of GIS desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create or oversee GPS models from CAD files.
• Review quality and resolve issues on survey data.
• Set up base stations on projects and provide rough stakeout.
• Operate UAVs for aerial mapping and progress monitoring.
• Prepare as-built documents and support project close-out.
• Assist in post-bid grading quantity audits.
• Maintain and troubleshoot surveying equipment.
