Job summary

Construction Masters Services and Summit Flagging is seeking a Construction Surveyor to perform stakeout tasks and related field surveying, including as-built work. You will collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and foremen to support construction schedules.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of stake-out experience with CAD, data collectors, and robotic total stations, plus strong plans-reading and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ construction stake out experience using CAD, Data Collectors w/stake out software, and robotic total stations.
• Experience in the field working on various civil construction projects preferred
• Excellent communication skills, organization skills, and attendance
• Positive, I Can Do attitude with team player mentality
• Ability to adapt and overcome daily changes in schedules

Responsibilities

• Support survey needs with PMs, Superintendents, and foremen to meet construction schedules
• Acquire project CAD files from design engineers on record
• Maintain/service all gear assigned to the survey truck
• Work closely with PM’s, Superintendents, and foreman to provide their survey needs to meet their construction schedules
• Proficient with CAD, data collectors, and robotic total station reading project plans and specifications
• Perform all construction surveying duties to today’s standard practices
• Verification of Shop drawings prior to releasing for fabrication
• Performs additional duties as assigned

The Construction Surveyor provides construction stakeout tasks, along with other related construction surveying needs such as as-builts.

• Proficient with reading project plans and specifications
