Job summary

On Point Staffing Group is seeking a Senior Survey Project Support to assist the project manager in construction surveying, including field crew setups, reviewing construction documents, and preparing client deliverables. The role involves general oversight of survey field crews, CAD Drafters, and Survey Technicians, with responsibilities for stakeout, calculations, and as-built surveys.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in the construction surveying field, including both field and office.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Ability to relate to clients and people at all levels of the organization.
• Knowledge of field survey operations, engineering, and the construction industry.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret drawings and the most complex documents.
• Excellent computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Construction stakeout services, including field setup and quality control of construction stakeout projects
• Assist in interviewing and onboarding of new field crew staff, CAD Drafters, and Survey Technicians
• Assist in training survey field crews, CAD Drafters, and Survey Technicians on construction stakeout procedures and protocols
• Review performance of field crews, CAD Drafters, and Survey Technicians, and provide feedback
• Construction stake-out calculations, as-built surveys, and/or sketches
• Grade sheet preparation
• Accountable for plan presentation
• Survey traverse adjustments
• Communicate effectively across all teams and business units
• Assist and work directly with the Assistant Project Manager and Project Manager
• Any other duties as assigned
