Position Details

• Title: Construction Surveillance Technician I
• Location: Dayton, OH
• Security Clearance Level: Interim Secret, with ability to obtain up to TS/SCI with Counterintelligence polygraph

Duties and Responsibilities

The role supports the Air Force Special Access Program (SAP) Security Support Services, assisting in oversight of national security objectives, security operations, and management of secure construction efforts, including:

• Assessing and recommending improvements to policies, procedures, or systems
• Identifying threats, vulnerabilities, and risks
• Managing security personnel, logs, and reporting incidents
• Enforcing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Conducting inspections of construction materials and documenting secure space construction for accreditation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 1-2 years of related experience or 5-6 years of experience without a degree
• Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) counts towards 3 years of experience
• Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) counts towards 5 years of experience
• Knowledge of ICD 705 and compliance requirements for SCIFs is preferred
• Completion of safety training such as OSHA 10, Fall Protection, and Confined Space within 30 days of hire
• Must complete CDSE STEPP ICD 705 Physical Security Construction Requirements for SAP course within 30 days of hire
