Job summary

Callanan Industries Inc., a CRH Company, is seeking an entry-level Construction Superintendent Trainee to develop leadership skills and learn all aspects of field operations alongside experienced superintendents and project managers.

You will help plan and execute projects, promote safety, coordinate manpower, equipment, and vendors, and progress toward management roles. This program prepares you for a Construction Superintendent position within our Albany-area operations.

Qualifications

• Degree in construction management or related field required.
• Internship, co-op, or leadership roles in construction environments.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote a culture of safety on all job sites.
• Assist with planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects.
• Support project managers, superintendents, and field supervisors daily.
• Learn project scheduling processes and scheduling software applications.
• Collaborate with field personnel, project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and customers.
