Position Summary

Supervises Construction Services Division Crew Leaders and Heavy Equipment Supervisor in construction services. This position is a grade E16; pay is $82,285.00/annually.

Education And Experience

• Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must have 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Must have 5 years of experience in the construction field, with experience in both home and residential construction, including knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and operation of heavy equipment.
• Must have computer experience including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Must have the ability to accurately read, interpret, and draw construction and building plans.
• Must have a general knowledge of various roof types to include sheeting, trusses, gutters, and panels.
• Must have extensive knowledge in the use of equipment, power and hand tools, and other machinery used in home construction and repair.
• Must be able to work a rotating on-call schedule.
• Must have a valid Driver's License for state of residency and be insurable under the Tribal vehicle Insurance policy.
• Must pass a thorough background check including Criminal History and fingerprint check.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in First Aid and CPR.
• Working knowledge of the Southern Ute Indian Reservation and the location and ownership of houses within the exterior boundaries of the reservation is preferred.
• Experience supervising construction crews.
