Job summary

General Construction Contractors Inc is seeking a driven and experienced Construction Superintendent to lead a multi-family housing project in the San Jose, CA area. You will oversee and manage job sites, crews, and daily operations to deliver quality results while maintaining safety and schedule adherence.

The role requires coordinating with Project Manager, subcontractors, and office staff, with on-site leadership and teamwork to meet project goals. Salary will be discussed during interview.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of commercial and multi-family construction methods.
• Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trade crews simultaneously.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
• Solid understanding of OSHA safety standards and job site compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily on-site construction operations to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and supervise subcontractors, laborers, and trade crews throughout all project phases.
• Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company safety policies.
• Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate execution in the field.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to maintain high construction standards.
• Communicate project progress, issues, and updates to project managers and stakeholders.
• Manage material deliveries, equipment scheduling, and site logistics.
• Manage all documentation of daily activity of the jobsite along with weekly report with taking photos of completed work each day.
• Coordinate with Supervisor to go over project progress.
• Attend meetings through Teams.
• Coordinate with office staff
