Job summary

RIMEPRO INC seeks an Assistant Superintendent to support field operations on multifamily and complex Bay Area projects. You will coordinate subcontractors, site logistics, safety, inspections, and scheduling while working with the Project Superintendent and Project Manager.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of field leadership experience, strong reading of plans and specs, and experience with Procore (Primavera P6 a plus). This is an on-site role across the San Francisco Bay Area.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of construction field experience in a lead role.
• Reading and interpreting construction plans and specs.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and day-to-day field activities.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Procore and scheduling software preferred; Primavera P6 exposure is a plus.
• Construction Management or related degree preferred but not required.
• Ability to work on active project sites throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.

Responsibilities

• Support the Superintendent with daily field operations from site setup through project closeout.
• Assist with jobsite safety, quality control, scheduling, and construction sequencing.
• Coordinate subcontractors, field personnel, inspections, deliveries, and site logistics.
• Participate in daily site walks and help identify safety, quality, and schedule concerns.
• Review plans, specifications, shop drawings, and project documents for constructability.
• Maintain and assist with RFIs, ASIs, as-builts, and other field documentation.
• Attend and help lead foreman, safety, pre-task, and project coordination meetings.
• Coordinate building inspections, subcontractor inspections, and agency requirements.
• Track subcontractor manpower, production, and field performance.
• Work closely with project management, architects, engineers, consultants, and trade partners.
• Assist with maintaining an organized, safe, and productive jobsite.

Summary

An established Bay Area general contractor is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support field operations on multifamily and other complex building projects throughout the Bay Area.

Working closely with the Project Superintendent and Project Manager, this individual will help coordinate subcontractors, site logistics, safety, quality, inspections, scheduling, and daily field activities. This is a strong opportunity for an experienced Foreman, Assistant Superintendent, or field construction professional ready to take on greater project leadership responsibility with a respected general contractor.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Superintendent with daily field operations from site setup through project closeout

Requirements

• Understanding of construction sequencing, site safety, scheduling, and building trades

• Experience coordinating subcontractors and day-to-day field activities

• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications

• Multifamily, mixed-use, or ground-up commercial construction experience preferred

• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

• Experience with Procore and construction scheduling software preferred; Primavera P6 exposure is a plus

• Construction Management or related degree preferred but not required

• Ability to work on active project sites throughout the San Francisco Bay Area
