DEVCO US Construction LLC is hiring a Full-Time Construction Superintendent for the North Park project in Billings, MT. The site comprises a 152-unit garden-style, three-building development with a clubhouse.

You will oversee all daily field operations to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with safety as a priority. The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of garden-style multifamily supervision, a 4-year construction degree, and proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in a construction-related field or commensurate field experience.
• 5-7 years work experience in garden-style multifamily construction site supervision.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. (I-9).
• Must pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Plan and set up the job site and prepare/update Project Schedule.
• Oversee scheduling of materials, equipment, manpower, and subcontractors to meet schedule and quality.
• Monitor pace and quality of work; review/approve updated schedules with the team.
• Direct resource allocation and maintain records of daily activities.
• Lead meetings and ensure safety compliance and OSHA requirements.
• Develop strong relationships with subcontractors and stakeholders; manage documentation.

About the PositionDevCo US Construction is hiring for a Full-Time Construction Superintendent to join our multi-family development project in Billings, MT (North Park)! North Park is a 152-unit ground-up construction garden-style build with three buildings, and a clubhouse. The Site Superintendent is responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, on budget, meeting quality standards and are done safely. Oversee the Assistant Superintendent for scheduling of materials, equipment, manpower, and subcontractors to ensure project schedule and quality are met. Review and approve the updated project schedule that the Assistant Site Superintendent will distribute to all subcontractors. Monitor the pace and quality of work. Work with the Project Manager to prepare status reports and regularly monitor deliveries, subcontractors and schedules. Oversee and direct the allocation of project resources appropriately (manpower, materials and equipment) through phone conversations and emails keeping accurate records of daily activities.Supervise entire construction field staff, ensuring project deadlines are metAbility to anticipate and overcome project challengesMaintain a strong relationship with Project ManagersLead daily/weekly meetings to ensure the team is working together successfully and delivering quality workManage and maintain project safetyMaintain OSHA requirements at all timesParticipate in OAC meetings as requiredMentor less experienced construction professionalsTrack project documentation, tasks, issues, etc.Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractorsThe ability to become proficient in Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project (proficiency greatly preferred).Travel will be requiredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Ground Up Low Income Housing Tax Credit Multifamily Construction Project ExperienceGarden Style, Podium, Wrap and/or Open Courtyard and Urban Mid Rise Project Experience. Post Tension experience desirable.Strong Reputation for working well with SubcontractorsAbility to create strong relationships with stakeholdersManage entire process from start to finish - including site clearing, earth work, underground utilities, site planning/logistics, managing/leading the entire field team on the site, walking the site regularly, scheduling, evaluating performance, & communicating to Project Manager.4-year degree in a construction related field or commensurate field experience.5-7 years work experience in garden style multifamily construction site supervision with proven ability to use multiple types of software to efficiently manage projects.Successful completion of background check and drug screen required.Must be legally qualified to work in the U.S. meeting I-9 guidelines.Must be able to speak, read and write English in a manner sufficient to carry out duties.DevCo US Construction is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
