Job summary

Mortenson Construction seeks a Superintendent to coordinate, plan, and supervise craft activities and assistants across disciplines, ensuring schedule adherence and high service levels. This role begins on a New Mexico project and may extend to Denver area projects.

The successful candidate will lead teams, manage complex tasks, and foster client relationships while upholding safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Five years minimum in construction management or related experience.
• Ability to manage multiple, complex projects from development to closeout.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan materials, equipment, and inspections to support the project schedule.
• Review documents for completeness; coordinate with design engineers.
• Develop and manage project schedule and site logistics plan.
• Coach and supervise team members; conduct meetings and interviews.
• Manage safety, quality, risk, and compliance; drive improvements.
