Job summary

O&G Industries, Inc., a Torrington, CT-based construction leader, seeks experienced Building Construction Superintendents to lead field operations on major projects across Connecticut. You will coordinate crews, subcontractors, materials, and equipment to maintain schedules and ensure quality and safety on site.

The ideal candidate has 3–7 years of building construction experience, knowledge of drawings and scheduling, and OSHA certifications.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of building construction experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, contract documents, and field operations.
• Knowledge of construction scheduling, planning, and cost control.
• Ability to manage crews and subcontractors in a fast-paced environment.
• OSHA 10 required, OSHA 30 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily field operations on assigned construction projects
• Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and equipment to maintain schedule and productivity
• Ensure work meets quality standards, contract documents, and project specifications
• Promote and enforce jobsite safety and OSHA compliance
• Maintain clean, organized, and efficient job sites
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and project teams to achieve on-time, on-budget delivery
• Implement Lean construction practices to improve efficiency and workflow
