Job summary

O&G Industries, Inc. in Torrington, CT, is seeking an experienced Building Construction Project Manager to oversee complex projects from preconstruction to closeout. Lead teams, coordinate owners, architects, and engineers, and ensure on-time delivery within budget while upholding safety and Lean principles.

The ideal candidate has a B.S. in Engineering or Construction Management, 5–7 years in a lead role on building projects, and proven experience managing $15M–$30M programs in Connecticut.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in a lead role on building construction projects.
• Experience managing projects in the $15M–$30M range.
• Strong understanding of drawings, specifications, contract documents, and cost control.
• Experience with Lean construction practices and safety (OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all phases of assigned construction projects from preconstruction through project closeout.
• Serve as the primary liaison with owners, architects, and engineers.
• Collaborate with jobsite Superintendents and field teams to meet schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and identify the critical path.
• Manage project budgets, cost controls, subcontractor agreements, and change orders.
• Ensure compliance with contract documents, specifications, and company standards.
• Promote and uphold strong safety practices and regulatory compliance.
